ASA 5505 wont power on after storm

So im sure I will just have to return it, but after a thunder storm the ASA wont power on. I even had it in a UPS. The AC/DC adapter is rated for 48v and it tested at 47.5v. I looked at the motherboard and I didnt see any burn marks where any resistors might have fried. Is the power adapter supposed to be 48v or highter? that would be a simple cheap fix. Thoughts?

hi richard,

the power rating is fixed at 48V DC output.

you may try replacing the power brick first and see whether it helps.
