ASA 5510 ASDM Logging not receiving everything - 8.0(4)32

Hello,

I'm working on an ASA that is at 8.0(4)32 and ASDM 6.1(5)57. Below are the logging statements I have in the config:

logging enable

logging timestamp

logging standby

logging buffer-size 32000

logging buffered informational

logging trap debugging

logging asdm debugging

When I am troubleshooting I will see messages using the command "show log" that I will not ever see in the ASDM when using the Real Time Log Viewer.

Is there something I'm missing in the config?

when you do sh logg you are looking at the logs in the buffer. You have buffer logging to informational level. ASDM logging is set to debug level.

You may see logs in ASDM that you may not seen when you do sh log but, not the other way around.

Which syslog message in particular are you talking about?
