ASA 5510 Running Config

Alex

Hi,

I had an issue in which the running config on my Cisco ASA 5510 suddenly became blank as if it has been restored to the default configuration however I havent made any changes to it recently.

When I checked the saved config all of my settings were there so I copied it over to the running config however a few hours later the same issue occured.

Any ideas on what might have caused this or how to permantly fix it would be great.

Thanks

Alex

asa(config)# show memory
Free memory: 127190128 bytes (47%)
Used memory: 141245328 bytes (53%)
------------- ----------------
Total memory: 268435456 bytes (100%)

asa(config)# fsck flash
dosfsck 2.11, 12 Mar 2005, FAT32, LFN
/dev/hda1: 52 files, 5099/31180 clusters

fsck of flash: complete

Hi,

When you do a write memory do you see any error message or log.

Flash health seems fine apart from that I am not sure what else can lead to this.

Also check logs at the time of the issue and check if you find anything weird.

Aditya

When I run the write memory command it runs without any issues and I havent seen anything weird in the log files.

Thank you for your help.
