Hello,
It is known that the ASA has a limitation regarding WCCP and the interfaces where the client and the web cache is located. From the configuration guide from version 7.2(1) to 9.0:
"WCCP redirection is supported only on the ingress of an interface. The only topology that the ASA supports is when client and cache engine are behind the same interface of the ASA and the cache engine can directly communicate with the client, without going through the ASA."
However, this paragraph is not present in the CLI configuration guide for ASA 9.1:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa91/configuration/general/basic_wccp.html
Has the limitation truly dissappeared? Or is just missing from the configuration guide? I couldn't find any new feature regarding WCCP in the release notes.
Regards,
Javier
