Hi Experts,

I have a ASA 5520 with Public subnet of X.X.X.80/29, ( i.e 81 - 86 usable ips)

1) X.X.X.81 --> gateway towards Internet

2)  X.X.X.82 --> ASA interface IP.

3)  X.X.X.83,84,85,86 --> Used for port forwarding ( Static Nat) on different ports.

Now i need to connect Another ASA in HA, but i m not left with free IP for outside interface Secondary IP.

Can we use Subnet ID X.X.X.80 as secondary HA IP on outised interface

Thanks,

Mazhar

Hi,

You will not be able to use the network address. The software would not let you

So you might try to speak with your ISP in order to enlarge your internet prefix.
