ASA LOGIN ISSUR

I am having a issue on ASA , When we  try to login to ASA BY LOCAL USER OR tacacs user ASA login fail. There is no human error like wrong password . Please help out

Hi,

Can you share the sanitized config of the ASA?

It may be that ASA cannot communicate to your TACACS server.

Hi Aditya

  Firewall with issue, is configured as a standby unit dude some issue primary firewall goes down and standby unit become active.

After the failover,  secondry firewall (which was act as standby unit) become active.  We also configured local authentication on ASA in case TACACS server goes down so we login by local user and password.

But in our case TACACS server is working fine.

We are unable to login tacacs or by local user

did you check the event logs on your AAA/TACACS+ server?

can you login via console?

can you post AAA config on the ASA?

Getting the same issue on other ASA . Still unable to figure out what's going. I have remove the device from TACACS SERVER so I can login by local user and password but no success.

Even try to login by console
