ASA redundant interface failover time

Hello

I have been looking for information on the failover time for a redundant interface. In particular, I am looking at configuring an ASA with two physical interfaces to different routers in a ring running EIGRP. I understand there will be the EIGRP reconvergence time, but I am wondering how this compares to failing over to a standby node with a single attached interface.

Has anyone had any experiences with this type of failover in a similar situation?

Thanks

-Chris
