Is the firewall ASA version 9.8 gigabit interface port number is change to starting from gigabit 1/1...gi1/8 instead of last time start from number gi1/0?
no. that has nothing to do with the ASA software. if a box as example running 9.8 on 5516-X its port numbers are always come up as gig1/1 to gig1/8. does not matter if you on version 9.8 or 9.6 or 9.2.
It is highly unlikely as the interface numbers are printed on the chassis.
