ASA5506-X not working

Dear Experts,

Kindly i have an ASA5506 for my client and it stop working,

i try to enter via Console but i doesn't give me anything, only a blank page

the power LED is Green

the Status LED is Blinking Red

the Active LED is OFF

the MGMT Port LED is Green

The Interface 1 and 2 OFF when connect the cables ( outside-inside)

i try to reboot it many time but nothing happen

any Advice for it

if this is the case it could be brick. best do RMA if you have cisco service contract in place.

 and also its a 5506-x could be it had a clocking issue. worth to check this link

ASA5506-K8 All revisions and all prior versions are affected

 

Product ID      Possibly Affected VID     Fixed VID
ASA5506        V03 or earlier                 V04 or later

 

The security appliances no longer function and, subsequently, the system fails to boot.
In addition, the LED status indicators on the security appliance illuminate as follows:
Power LED is green
Status LED is amber and blinking

 

My Item is ASA5506-K8 V02 , So possibly affected by the issue
Best solution to do, is to open a case on the Smartnet and RMA the Item ?

Kindly, the Defected ASA5506-X has an L-ASA5506-SEC-PL= License

and the token dedicated to the ASA5506-X thought the Serial number

when the defected ASA replaced to a new one, it will have an Different Serial Number

how to add the the L-ASA5506-SEC-PL= in the Replaced one ?

do i need to open a Case to make the Pak dedicated to the New Replaced ASA Serial Number ???

Hi guys, 

is there any chance to unbrick the ASA5506-X with same issue - no booting, leds etc - but we don't have service contract... ?

Hi,

you have to open the case and switch between the two RAM slots.

Hi, I bought the used ASA5506-x from Ebays.

I took the below steps to reset the device to the factory default:

pressed the ESC key to interrupt boot.

rommon #0> confreg 0x41

rommon 1> boot

 

after that, I was able to add the new adm-user and password

change the host-name to ASA

reload

 

After the ASA enters the first boot, I press the ESC key again but this time, I noticed

the power LED is Green

the Status LED is Blinking Amber

the Active LED is OFF

the MGMT Port LED is Green

 

And getting an error see the screenshot attached.

Could you please help?
