asav from vmware workstation to esxi 5.5

Hello, I am trying to find a way to move my ASAv (9.3.1) from my vmware workstation to my HP microserver which runs ESXi 5.5

When adding the asa folder from my workstation to the datastore in esxi and add the vmx to the inventory, I get an invalid disk error.

When I export to ovf and then deploy it via Vsphere client, the firewall crashes all the time and I have to reboot.

I don't have a (valid) license for vshpere server to deploy an ovf in a regular way, so any suggestions are welcome.

Have you tried the VMware converter? I was able to move around an ASAv with the converter.

Hello, thank you, I could download it after registering.

Vmware vcenter converter is it. I will give it a try,hopefully it works.
