A query from a friend, which I thought is interesting, can someone advise.

Can a ASA 5515 with a Active/Active license be changed to Active/Standby?

The license type doesn't change.

You configure an ASA pair with multiple contexts to get Active-Active operation. Without using the multiple context feature you are limited to Active-Standby.
