Can ASA-5505-SEC-PL be applied to ASA5505-K8?

Hi all,

I would like to find out if security plus license ASA-5505-sec-pl be applied to ASA5505-K8. I think the strength of encryption should not be determining whether additional feature can be applied or not, but I need to confirm with you people.....Thanks for your help.

I do not have anything authoritative to offer but I believe that you should be able to apply the Security Plus license to that ASA. I think that we may have done that for a customer a while back, but I no longer have any paperwork that would substantiate this.
