How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Thanks!

The problem is the client want us to implement Failover mode on existing ASA5516, so we have two problems:

1. whether we can still buy it? What exactly to buy since it`s difficult now to find exact part number and distributors want us to name exact part number to buy the similar item.

2. is there a way to build Failover with existing ASA and smth else (1000 series for example)

The part number for ordering is ASA5516-FPWR-K9. There are several sub-line items that would need to be included to make an order valid (power cord, support contract, no-cost Control license for Firepower service module, etc.).

Any authorized Cisco reseller should be able to create a valid order using that top level part number or SKU as it is called (Stock Keeping Unit).

If the current ASA is using the Firepower module, you would also need to order matching term licenses and subscriptions for the new unit.
