Hi,

I have one Cisco Catalyst 2960 connected to ASA 5520 as Trunk. The version on ASA is 7.2(2).

The port on the 2960 connected to ASA is reporting lost of undersize packet.

Is there any problem with this on version 7.2(2) or shuld I continue search for the problem.

Best Regards

Magnus

Hello,

Undersize packet is not a problem. Cisco devices keep a count of how many

undersize packets they have received but will still pass them through.

Mostly, undersize packets are generated due to driver issues. If you think

that it is still a problem, upgrade the code on the firewall.

Hope this helps.

NT
