I hope someone can help us with this:
We are considering different designs for our core network and are investigating the purchase of a Cluster license for our 5585-X. Someone pointed out that maybe the ASA-5585-SEC-PL will activate our 10TenG interfaces and the Cluster option also. Can someone confirm this?
If this is not the case which license do we need in order to enable clustering? I have tried to go through several documents but could not find any valid help. Have found this in CSC but don't know if the info is still valid:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11754986/asa-5585-cluster-license
Any help will be most appreciated.
Best regards
Isaac Alves

Security Plus on the 5585X (-10 and -20 SSP models) will NOT automatically enable the clustering license.
The cluster license part number in the post you linked are still valid. They are zero dollar line items and orderable by your reseller using Cisco's ordering tool (CCW).
I just confirmed the license question on one of mine:
asa/pri/act# sh activation-key | b License
