hi all i have configured the Cisco firewall with the following interface.

GigabitEthernet0/0

GigabitEthernet0/0.1 (Inside01) VLAN-1

GigabitEthernet0/1

GigabitEthernet0/1.1(Lan Based Failover) VLAN-110

GigabitEthernet0/1.2(Statefull Failover) VLAN-120

GigabitEthernet0/2

GigabitEthernet0/2.1(Outside01) VLAN-510

GigabitEthernet0/3

GigabitEthernet0/3.1(DMZ) VLAN-310

i have checked all the valid interfaces are having IP address and also are enabled state.  I am trying to configure in Failover Mode.Active/Standby

I am missing some route because of which i am not able to communciation with the other network through any of the sub-interfaces.  If i assign the IP to the physical interface everything works properly.

Any idea on where i am going wrong?

Vivek

Hi Prasad,

Difficult to tell without having a look at the configuration:

could you just provide the configuration:

show run interface

show switch vlan

show run nameif

Also could you explain how you created the VLANs?

Thanks,

Varun
