Context Licenses Different on Same Platform; Bug or Stacking?

Hello,

I have a pair ASA5525-X that were ordered at the same time that are identical.   When I do a show version I have one ASA reporting that it has 2 contexts while the other one is reporting 4. I wasn't aware that contexts were stackable. Do I have 2 or 4 usable contexts?

Are the ASAs running in H/A

Are the ASAs running in H/A (Active/Standby or Active/Active)? If yes, then what you are seeing is the combined licenses between the two members of the H/A configuration. For more info check this link:

I hope this helps!
