Error during configuring AIP SSM-10 with ASA 5520

Dear Concerns,

Error occurring while trying to configuring new AIP SSM-10 module with new ASA 5520. Following error shown during start of session

"Authentication token manipulation error

Remote card closed command session...press any key to continue....."

i have also tried to ASDM IPS option but there is also showing error that

"destination unreachable of ....."

Kindly advice..

Hi,

IF you are trying to access AIP-SSM for the first time from ASA, then try using command line.

ASA5520 and AIP-SSM are two different unit and each has its own credentials. The default username password for AIP-SSM is cisco/cisco. AIP-SSM will ask you to change password.
