Error while Install Certificate on the ASA: add the device certificate as ca certificate

Hello, while installing the device certificate sent from the CA, i mess up and put the device certificate in the CA place. When I try to fix that I recived this error: "ERROR: You must use 'no crypto ca trustpoint <trustpoint-name>' to delete the CA certificate first.". But, if I execute the command "no crypto ca trustpoint <trustpoint-name>" all request procees (and trustpoint) is deleted.

Any suggest???

Hello Ggeis,

You need to create a new CSR with the same keypair, and proceed to install the PKCS12 properly, below I will paste a guide:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/asa-5500-x-series-next-generation-firewalls/98596-asa-8-x-3rdpartyvendorcert.html

After the certs are installed, proceed to remove the one where you did the mistake,

Keep me posted,
