1) If I configure the standby unit it will not update active unit.
What happens if a failover occurs? Forced or Manually? The standby unit will use the changed configuration or it will update the running configuration and the changes will be lost?
2) If I lost the Failover link(direct connected)
Failover wont occur. If I force the failover it will happen? Do I need to force both?
I know the connections will be lost.
And to finish, If I only can upgrade the firewall standby hardware, add new interface for example (and do the interface configuration). Is there any way to use failover or it´s better to isolate the unit. After sometime we will install the Interface on the other unit.
