How RAM slots have Cisco ASA 5505

how many slots it has?
how to upgrade from 512MB RAM to 1GB RAM?
Does it need an extra 512MB RAM (if it has two slots), or must be removed the actual 512MB RAM and replace it with 1GB RAM (if it has only one slot)?

Hi,

5505 has only 1 memory slot for sure and just to add, the 512MB is the official maximum supported DRAM on 5505 and 1GB is not. Keep also in mind when upgrading the memory to 1GB that not all 1GB memory will work.
