How to find out "hardware" version of ASAv

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to find out which "hardware" version of ASAv, as in ASAv5, ASAv10 or ASAv30, is running?

I can find the license details and the inventory only shows ASAv so I can't really be sure.

BR,

S-L

Thank you for your post. Either a "show inv" or "show ver" should yield the results you need.
Have a try and let me know.

Regards,
Luke

Hi Luke,

Thanks for your reply, however I have already tried this. These commands only list the hardware as ASAv and some info on CPU and RAM assigned by the host, no info on which version of ASAv is running though.

Any other ideas?

Ok - strange. Try piping it out with one of the following commands. The tech should pretty much print the output of every (if not all) relevant show commands. The search pipe may help to narrow it down to what you require. My lab is not up and functional at the moment, so I am unable to test for you.

show tech | inc asavshow tech | inc asav5
show tech | inc asav10
show tech | inc asav30
HTH

Kind regards,
Luke
