I am not sure if I understand the question.

You have a 5520 where a waas issue was solved by enabled inspect waas and you'd like to do the same thing with the 5510?

Just enable inspect waas on the 5510.  You are unable to do that?

Make sure you are running 7.2.1 or above in the ASA which is when the command was introduced.

Alaa,

You keep referring to 'wass' is this a typo?

Are you referring to WAAS - Wide Area Application Services?

Your correct by what you have typed WASS is not supported and to be honest I have no idea what you are referring to if this is the case.

The ouput I had previously posted was from an ASA5510 so it is definitely supported.

Im not aware of any licensing restrictions for this either.

You config should look something like the following:

policy-map global_policy
class inspection_default

  inspect waas

Is this how you are trying to apply it?

Alaa,

I'm not sure what your trying but WAAS inspection is supported on the ASA5510 as of v7.2(1).

ASA(config-pmap-c)# inspect ?

mpf-policy-map-class mode commands/options:

  ctiqbe

  dcerpc

  dns

  esmtp

  ftp

  h323

  http

  icmp

  ils

  im

  ipsec-pass-thru

  mgcp

  mmp

  netbios

  pptp

  rsh

  rtsp

  sip

  skinny

  snmp

  sqlnet

  sunrpc

  tftp

  waas

  xdmcp

What version of code are you running?
I have checked through the docs also and see no restrictions on platform for WAAS.
