Need to disable Pix Activation-key - PIX 506

Hi,

I would like to disable the current activation-key on the PIX before disposing it off. Is it possible to remove the key. There are a lot of posts how to add the key, but did not find any on removing.

I dont think there is a configuration command to disable the activation key. One option is to erase all the contents in the flash and the only way to recover the pix is through monitor mode and at that time the pix should prompt for the activation key. And this way you clear the activation key as well.
