New 5508x, can't get ASDM to start up

I just opened up the box for my 5508x. I was trying to use the ASDM for the first time and I receive an error that says the url can't be found

It may be a manufacturing quality control issue - I've had another customer report that the 5508s aren't shipping with the ASDM file present. In his case, I provided a copy and he was able to copy it onto the box and get going from there.

Please check from console / command with a "dir" command.

this is exactly what happened. The Asdm file was not there. I had to flash it to the asa. Thank you
