Oracle database connectivity problem

Hi,

I am facing some problem with Oracle database connectivity with my application server. While both the servers are put into same DMZ of PIX everything is working fine. But when we put in different DMZs connectivity with DB getting hanged. Then we need to restart the Application server to restore the connectivity. I have permitted ip connectivity between both the server in the pix.

Which IOS version are you using?

Try disabling the SQL inspection.

pix(config)#policy-map global_policy

pix(config-pmap)#class inspection_default

pix(config-pmap-c)#no inspect sqlnet

The OS version is 7.1. I am using Oracle Database not SQL.

But Oracle is using SQL , which is over TCP 1521.

ok. let me try it. But one more thing I have permitted ip between the servers. Still do i need inspection?
