Proxy arp on ASA

We have a printer which is connected to the core router through a switch and the core router is connected to ASA to the internet.

Now sometimes we lose ping connectivity on the printer and it comes back up after 5-10 minutes and it stays live  for 15 minutes again.

We had similar issues in one of the remote branches where we had same scenario and it was was by disabling the proxyarp on inside interface of the ASA.

I tried the same thing and issue is still.

Every time I clear arp on ASA I get one ping response from the printer and again I lose and after sometimes we get the connectivity.

Can anyone help me in this.

Hello Ramesh,

Looks like someone else is using the printer IP addres.

Can you check on the ASA the ARP entry for the ip address of the printer???

Any other question...Sure..Just remember to rate all of my answers..
