Removing Standby Unit from Active/Standby Pair

Hi Everyone!

I need to remove the Standby FW from our Active/Standby setup. Are you aware of anything specific that needs to be done?

I have checked everywhere on the web, but there doesn't seem to be anything that I have to do prior to disconnecting it from the primary unit...
Do I just pull the cable out of the secondary firewall? :D

Thanks in advance!

You can pull the power plug on the standby unit safely without any interruption to traffic. If you want to just pull out network cables from the unit but keep it powered on, then do the data connections before the failover interface.  This way you can avoid being in an Active/Active state.

yes correct, just pull the Standby unit Power cable, (make sure you took the backup and pulling the power of right unit).
