replacing current 4x1gig port-channel to 2x10gig port-channel
In our network, we have a pair of HA ASA 5580. This pair is using 1gig interfaces to form a port-channel (lets say Po1). Multiple sub-interfaces on Po1 are then assigned to a few contexts. We are now looking to upgrade the Po1 to use the 10g connections. Wondering what is the easiest way of achieving this without doing lot of re-config? My understanding is that as the etherchannel must have the same speed and duplex interfaces, I can't just add 10gig interfaces into the existing Po1 to later remove the 1gigs. And, if I create a new etherchannel, and assign the new subinterfaces to the contexts involved, I'll have to do lot of re-configuration and the downtime. is there an easy way of doing this?
