restoring 5510 config to 5520?

should I be able to do this? backup a config via tftp on a 5510 then restore it via tftp on a 5520?

You need to be careful with the naming conventions of the interfaces as well as the number of interfaces. The 5510 has a combination of FastEthernet interfaces as well as GigabitEthernet ports, the ASA 5520 mainly has gigabitethernet ports, this will cause a problem when loading the config of the 5510 to the 5520, other than that, you should not have problems
