Hi Forum,
What should I use, RIP or OSPF, over two links, one serial/one sdsl, the network is small, a single router with 2 connections to the ISP. RIPV2 has periodic updates, will it affect the links?

Yes, the periodic updates will over use the link. So OSPF is the better choice to use and it is the most popularly used protocol that is used in networking domains for the current trend.

Thank you ssoberlik.
If I am running OSPF, It will help me to load balance between the serial and SDSL line right?
In the background i am running GRE over IPsec, from a hub router behind the ASA, will the GRE tunnel fail, or will it load balance the GRE tunnel too?
For my internal clients using the microsoft ISA as proxy, will their connection fail if one of the link fail and the other link takes over.
Thank you,
py
