Supported code on ASA5500's

I an very familiar with "end of sale" notices with ASA5500 firewalls bt my question is more on the ios side.

Is there a way to find out what code revisions have been deferred or are not supported anymore?

In other words lets say I have a ASA-5540 running 7.0.6 will Cisco still support this?

I have a list of devices with code that is all over the place and cannot seem to find out if its supported or not

Hi ,

To be clear on this query , there is no issues with the Support of the Code from Cisco End until and unless the Hardware is under support.

I would recommend you to keep a note of the EOL for the Software Code on the ASA device which would mean that Cisco will support or troubleshoot your case with that code although no new Defect or work will be dine from Cisco end on that code.

Thanks and Regards,

Vibhor
