Using ADSM with 17,000 lines in ACL

Hi, Our outside ACL is blocking several countries by IP which causes us to have a large ACL bound to the outside interface, and as such when using the ADSM the configuration page hangs when trying to load.. well actually it doesnt hang it just doesnt load (keeps spinning)..

Any ideas?

Hi,

What platform are you using, when on the CLI, can you check the memory and the CPU usage?

ASA 5505 v8.2  CPU is doesn't rise about 50%

Can you get to any other screens on the ASA, or is it just the config page that hangs? Could be your version of Java is crashing out.

Found the answer.. there is a Cisco bug in this version of the ASDM (6.1).  bugId=CSCtc53304
