hi guys
i need serious help here right now i need to log vpn activity in my firewall ..when some one logs in vpn i need in an email alert from my Cisco ASA 5520 firewall
logging enable
logging timestamp
logging list vpn level debugging class vpn
logging buffer-size 10000
logging monitor notifications
logging buffered errors
logging trap alerts
logging asdm informational
logging mail alerts
logging from-address
logging recipient-address
level errors
logging facility 23
logging class ip mail emergencies
logging class np mail emergencies
logging class sys mail alerts
logging class vpn mail debugging
logging class ipaa mail emergencies
logging enable
logging timestamp
logging list vpn level debugging class vpn
logging buffer-size 10000
logging monitor notifications
logging buffered errors
logging trap alerts
logging asdm informational
logging mail alerts
logging from-address DistASA5520@bhusd.org
above are the current setting with this i am not getting any emails if some one logs in VPN so can some one give me any ideas or suggestions

Do you have smtp server address configured on ASA?

Hi,
Can you run a quick packet capture?
access-list capin permit tcp interface outside any eq 25
access-list capin permit tcp any eq 25 interface outside
capture capin access-list capin interface outside
Wait for a few seconds and then do a show cap capin....
Note:
Assuming that the smtp is on the outside interface
