Hello experts,

I run a NESSUS scaning onto my cisco ISR, the Nessus report shows that these following vulneribilties are open in my Router: (xsftt and X11)

i tried to search the web about the risks involved with these ports/applicattions but i couldnt find a real thing about . Also i dont know is that a real vulnaribilty to block and dont know how to block this?

this point has also been pointed out by our internal audit. I am not sure what to reply them . If it is not any real valid point please let me know

Thha

Hi Imran Ahmad,

i believe those vulnerabilities are more application related that a Router vulnerability, you can check this information:

Linux: Multiple xfstt Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities

https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/viewAlert.x?alertId=6333

OpenSSH X11 Forwarding Command Injection Vulnerability

https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/viewAlert.x?alertId=44081

If you have the CVE for the vulnerabilities will be easier to match them with some documentation.

Hope this info helps!!
