Can we recommend ISE 2.4 to our large customer currently deploying 2.3 with patch 1 and patch 2 ?

Any one can share any detail regarding the recommendation of ISE 2.4 like stability and positive feedback and so on..

Thanks,

Our current recommendation for stable release is ISE 2.2 with latest patch unless someone needs functionality In 2.3 or 2.4

In the future we hope to move long term recommendation to 2.4

Thanks Jason for your excellent assistance.

We have currently installed 2.3 on customer ISE nodes, with patch1 and patch2. Customer argument is that 2.3 is a short term release, so provide the recommendation to move for 2.4 , which is long term release.

Being 2.4 an extremely new release, should we wait for some time, and waiting is good option the how long?, so we can have more feedback regarding 2.4 ?

or just we can recommend to install 2.4 now, comparing with 2.3 with two patches?

Take care and have a nice day,

Faheem

I would recommend to wait a couple of months and check back with us on recommendation for 2.4 as long term release.

Thanks,

Danny

Many thanks Danny for your excellent assistance. Faheem

Hi!

We're setting up a Cisco DNA testlab and will also deploy Cisco ISE for the first time (together with new WLC, CMX, FTD4110 and Catalyst 9000-switches).

Are there any major differences in 2.2 -> 2.4 when it comes to functionallity concerning Cisco DNA?

Is 2.4 well-enough tested to run in production (after our initial lab tests)?

Regards,

J.
