Enforce Guest password change after account extension?

Hi TME team,

My customer wants to have ISE (2.2 p14) enforce the Guest password change after a Sponsor has extended the account validity, but they claim the Guest is not prompted to change their password.

Scenario:

  • Guest Password Expiration set to every 8 days
  • Guest Type max account duration set to 7 days
  • Prior to Guest account expiration, Sponsor extends the account for another 5 days.
  • On/after day 8 of the account creation date, the Guest should be prompted to change their password.

Is this the expected behaviour or does the Password Expiration enforcement not work in conjunction with the Extend account?

@Jason Kunst

Thanks,

Greg

@Greg Gibbs @Surendra this is not a bug, looks like a feature request. To request password change after account status changed.

Only option we have is “Change password will be enabled after first login”. Please reach out to the product managers

Seems like a bug to me. Would suggest you to work with TAC and get a bug filed after troubleshooting.
