Guest - Time Zones - logs

ISE 2.1

The timezone is set correctly.  Users create new guest accounts using the local Sydney time.  However, when it is noon in Sydney the log messages on the ISE server in Sydney come in as 4am.  Any new guest accounts created thus say “account not yet active.”  This has been the case since we install the system.

I have read some things that changing the timezone after the system is up and running and cause database problems.

Any ideas?

Thanks

This won't answer the timezone question, but I almost always use the time starts from first login under the guest type.  That takes the whole date/time thing out of the equation.  I usually make a 1 day, 1 week and custom guest type.  Try to keep it simple for the sponsors.  Specifying start dates/times is most often not needed.
