ise 2.1 'enable email notificiations to guests' - gui inconsistency

with ISE 2.1

in case enable email notifications to guests has been disabled (unchecked)

then it's still possible for a sponsor to select mail notification:

If the sponsor (who is not aware of any policy/configuration) tries to send an email he'll receive the following error:

A known issue?

I would like to see this changed as it's confusing for sponsors -

The guest emails settings  will be conflict with

  • the setting in sponsor group
  • The setting configured in the self registration
