Hello,

    i'm always getting alarms about high load average in devices is not even used at the moment .

can i know what this alarm means and should i worry about it ?  i can see the cpu and memory utilization is very normal

and it always comes from the MNT nodes !!!

example:

Server=C-RHQ-NACMNT1 : Load Average=12

Server=E-DHQ-NACMNT1 : Load Average=13

Kareem,

It means compute utilization for those nodes are high and it is worth looking into further.  If these are virtual machines, please be sure that resource reservations are set in the VM template.

Regards,

-Tim
