ISE Interface Status

I have an ISE using two interfaces.

I am unable to ping out of the second interface (gig1). There are no packets showing Rx or Tx.

The working interface (gig0) shows a status of "Up, Running and Broadcast" but the second interface (gig1) only shows "Up and Broadcast".

Does anyone know what the "running" state means and how to get the second interface into a running state (if that's what required)?

Regards

John

Make sure it is not configured as a backup interface.  Make sure it has an IP address and mask.  All requests will follow static route table so expect only local requests to go out local interface without static routes (or default) configured.
