Machine Authentication for AD joined MAC machines

In the past I have done machine auth for MAC machines using certs pushed via JAMF or Casper.

Any recent updates or any new tools which somehow enable machine auth for AD joined MAC machines without certs ?

I've not tried joining a macOS device to AD so no personal experience.

I am going to a customer site next week who has MAC machines joined to AD and wish to do machine auth.

Will let you know what tool are they using. 

I see other tools/agents which are being used for machine auth.
