Replacing Mobility Licenses with Base and Plus

Currently we have old style term Mobility Licenses that are due to expire in a couple of weeks.

As in this style of llicenses both the base and feature liceses are term and run out we have simply purchased new Base and Plus licenses to replace them (don't need the Apex features).

The problem I have is ISE (2.2.0.470) won't let me add the new base licenses in parallel with the existing ones because because we don't have Mobility Upgrade (expands capabilities to include Wired devices).

I am guessing I first need to delete the old licenses and then install the news ones.

My questions is: When I delete the old licenses is their any risk of losing parts or corrupting the config?

When you delete the old license, you will still be logged in where you can import new licenses. Even if you log out after deleting the license, upon login, you will be redirected to a page where you are asked to install license to get access to the GUI.

I suggest having the old license file handy incase the new license fails to install.
