Unable to launch ADE-OS shell. Disk ful

When I boot ACS Server I am usable to login to the CLI.

 

I get the below message:

 

Unable to launch ADE-OS shell. Disk full

 

What is the way forward?

 - The only way forward I see, is to re-install the ACS server, and restore your server's setup  , from a recent backup.  It is assumed that in this freshness-state, supplementary files leading to disk full will no longer be present.

Contact TAC. They will help you out. There is something called a rescue disk which TAC uses to recover from situations like the one you are in.

Three potential options in my view.

1. Contact TAC and they can work through this with you if it is still a supported version.
2. Reinstall the node
3. If it is a VM then there is a somewhat hack way to mount the disk to a CentOS VM and access the normally hidden file system. While I provide it as an option, it only works if you have a VM, and I would only recommend it as a last course of action since you can really mess things up.
