Use ODBC connection to check against MAC address Database

Hi,

I have a use case where I want to extract MAC addresses from Radius requests and want to check against an external database using ODBC connection feature in ISE 2.1

Is this use case possible to achieve ?

I dont think ISE can query calling-station-id against an external database.

You are correct that it only supported with MAB auth. There are similar requests to use ODBC for endpoint lookup in DOT1X. Please bring your use case with our product management team.
