Variables for ISE/SMS API Integration

Hi All,

We are integrating the Cisco ISE to a Third Party SMS Gateway using API. There is a ask from customer to have a Unique UUID in the Data as part of Tracking Mechanism. Can I know what are the variables that can be used for this other than Mobile Number and Message. Ideal case would be the timestamp.

I have gone through the below document but not able to use any of these variables:

https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/ise/1.0/user_guide/ise10_guest_pol.html#wp1068521

Are you talking about the body of the SMS or as part of some header? If it is the body, simply add the UUID in the portal customization page under the SMS section. If it has to be unique for each user/request, there is nothing that we can do on ISE to populate it.

As part of HTTP Header, we are using JSON format.

Found out from colleague that we can use $timestamp$ as a variable to use it as a unique Identifier.
