Wireless Beta Setup ISE 2.4 SU5 fresh error

John Palmason

Hello I am running into an issue with the wireless beta setup on a fresh install of ISE 2.4 SU5 in my lab.  I have just reset my ISE node VM in the CLI, with application reset-config to reset all ISE configuration.  Once the node was back online I started the wireless beta services and tried to walk through the Secure Access wizard.  I am getting stuck at the AD integration portion of the wizard, Hotspot and Self reg wizards work perfectly.

See attached screen shot:Screen Shot 2019-02-16 at 3.13.17 PM.png

My AD domain is fresh as well.

Any advice is welcomed, thank you.

Hello Jason, thank you for taking the time on the weekend to reply to my post.  I was unable to view the bug link on the bottom the page you provided but that doesn't matter if its a know issue, as this is for lab purposes so I might re-install 2.3 as it seems to not be affected by this bug.  I have read you guide, and to be honest is is very good and I am reading over again to help get the concepts down.

The reason I wanted this beta setup to work is to show the options ISE has to offer to my team so we can better pick what suits our needs.   We have been running on a very simple static AUP page hosted on our wlc for years and I wanted to take it up a notch.

Keep up the good work on the guides they are so useful, I can't even begin to tell you how much they have helped me with getting started with ISE.

Cheers,

John

I would recommend going with ise 2.4 as it’s our recommended long term release. Use the guides instead of the secure access wizard.

Please do provide http://cs.co/ise-feedback on why you would like to see the tool improved upon instead of using guides
