hello,
there is not any significant difference between the two trains 15.2E and 15.2EC.
when IE4010 was first released (FCS 2016) the team pulled a throttle off of 15.2.4E, and called it 15.2.4EC2. no more rebuilds on that train.
IE switching product family has moved on with more updates on 15.2E train.
the 15.2.7E is long term support.
15.2.7E1 is about to be released (Nov 19).
if you plan to update the IOS SW to take advantage of PISRT updates then you should go with 15.2.7E train.

Albert,
Thank you very much for the answer.
It's clear for me what train to follow.
Kind regards,
Marcel
