SIP Trunk over Firepower 2100

Hi Tech People,

I would like to clarify one Cisco IP Telephone Design implementation with Firepower 2100 and it is recommended to use or deployed by any one without any Issues.

i am willing to connect physcial SIP Trunk line to the Firepower 2100 and use the NAT Function to allow the two way VOIP call between endpoints and SIP gateway using 4451x VOIP Gateways. Firpower will be in HA mode with active and standby mode.

Could you please suggest me any guide and book to understand this deployment.

What i can recommend is:

• Firewall policies for SIP and other required ports
• No NAT
• No traffic inspection (bypass)

This should be enought to keep you out of problems.
