We have a pair a ASA with AIP-SSM-10 module, Recently we have upgraded the AIP-SSM-10 software from 7.0(6)E4 to 7.1(6)E4 . After the upgrade module didnt come up . After waiting for some time we need to give hw-module module 1 reset command from ASA in order to bring the module up. But this time it has booted with old version ie 7.0(6)E4. Again we have tried to upgrade the softare and getting below error.
IPS1(config)# upgrade ftp://email@example.com/IPS-SSM_10-K9-7.1-6-E4.pkg Password: ******** Warning: Executing this command will apply a software update to the application partition. The system may be rebooted to complete the upgrade. Continue with upgrade? : yes Error: execUpgradeSoftware : Not enough storage space to download package file .
How to upgrade the IPS module from this point ? Any help in this would be highly appreciated.
